Julia Gabriel Centre has been producing confident communicators for over 25 years, empowering every student to express themselves with colour and creativity.
Julia Gabriel Centre Kuala Lumpur offers Speech and Drama programmes (2-18 years), Language Arts Programmes (2-12 years) and Adult Accompanied Programmes (6 months-4 years). In addition, the centre runs a range of short and long term courses for adults through Julia Gabriel School of Education. A long established relationship with Trinity College London offers our students, from 6 years old and above, the opportunity to obtain Trinity College qualifications. Each year at Julia Gabriel Centre is divided into four terms. Children attend once a week (with the exception of the accompanied programmes which require children to attend a minimum of twice a week) and can continue on throughout the school holidays with our five-day holiday programmes.
Our specialised EduDrama methodology, which uses drama, role play or imaginary play as tools for creating confident and expressive communicators, characterises every programme and working practice in our centres. Each specialist curriculum is carefully structured to enhance creativity, develop cognitive ability and ignite a passion for learning. Considerable attention is paid to creating a positive and enabling environment: teaching takes place with small group numbers in bright and colourful studios, facilitated by an international team of lively educators, passionate about creative education and children.
Our second centre opened in 2011 at CITTA Mall, a family-friendly open-air shopping mall in Ara Damansara, an established residential township in Petaling Jaya, Selangor that promotes green living. Occupying the third floor of the mall, the centre facilities include spacious classroom studios and an assembly area, an indoor playground for all physical education classes and outdoor play activities and a specially designed child-centred library for book-borrowing. The centre’s high ceilings, and glass walls exhibit a bright and spacious atmosphere, coupled with its wooden flooring that offers a cosy, relaxing environment for early childhood learning.
The CITTA Mall centre is home to Julia Gabriel Centre, and Chiltern House Preschool.
